Clean sweep at North Sea cup!

Our Techno sailors maintained their impressive record at this years North Sea cup. 7 Brits turned up at Wimereux in France over the weekend to compete in round three of the North Sea cup series. 3 races were sailed on Saturday afternoon in 10knts of wind, followed by a barbeque in the evening. Unfortunately, the wind did not re-appear on Sunday, so Saturdays results stood.
However, some fun beach games kept everybody amused and the tans topped up. Team GBR showed well at killer frisbee, but not so well at beach volleyball!!
Some good friendships were made, and everyone left happy……..particularly Sam and Kieran who pocketed 100 Euro`s for 1st in fleet, and Jade who won a bike in the raffle on Saturday………on her birthday too!!

Med Cup - Marseille

Individual Team GBR sailors have competed in the Marseille “Med Cup” event for a few years but this year, the whole RS:X Youth and Transition squads entered the event in addition to top UK Techno sailors Kieran Maritin and Sam Sills.
