The Techno 293 UK Class Association is proud to present the annual Techno Summer Camp.
The Techno 293 UK Class Association is once again heading to Northampton Sailing Club at Pitsford reservoir from Wednesday 15th to Saturday 18th August.
The camp led by Chloe Bennett and Ali Masters will offer great quality training for those looking to consolidate their learning at Team 15, whilst also looking to polish those skills around the course for any budding racers planning to attend the National Championships at Rutland Water in September.
A wide-ranging coaching team has been assembled from across the UK. Each individual hoping to pass on everything they know to drive your windsurfing forward, share their enthusiasm for the sport and guarantee all participants have loads of fun!
The camp is a great opportunity to get on the water with lots of other windsurfers, from around the country. It doesn’t matter if you have just started your windsurfing journey, or are an experienced competitor, this camp will develop your skills further in a fun relaxed environment.
The Techno Summer Camp is more than just a few days training, it’s action packed all day, filled with activities and challenges both out on the water and on shore. All sailor meals are provided and on site camping which is also included in the price is strongly recommended. It’s a great opportunity to make lots of new friends within the sport and allows the parents to relax, enjoying the social scene that accompanies our sport and make the most of Pitsford and the lovely surrounding area.
Costs – £200 for four days of premium coaching, sailor meals and free camping.
The camp will take place at Pitsford Reservoir, Northampton Sailing Club. It is a non-residential camp and requires a parent or a designated loco parentis (over 18) to be on site at all times. Additional Parent meals can be purchased at £60 for the four days.

Coach support will be provided on the 6.8 course and the 7.8 course using two ribs
The final cost depends on the amount of sailors going, the cost will go up or down depending if there are more or less than 10 sailors per rib.
We are at this time just trying to gauge people’s interest in going to the European Championships. If you are considering going to the Europeans then please get registering. All Techno sailors are encouraged to register for this event. The UKJS selected team will be taken into consideration and all atheletes are encouraged to register regardless of the selection.
Cost – The cost of the support will be no more than £200 per head for 10 sailors (this will drop down the more participants we have)
